Using local backup and restore
As an alternative to using online backup, you can copy a backup set to a local drive (for example, CDR/RW, USB, external hard drive, or any folder on your hard drive). By default, files are copied to the C: drive in a Webroot Backup folder, but you can change the drive and directory.
You can create multiple local backup sets, each with different specifications about what folders to copy and at what time. For example, you might want to create a weekly backup that copies all files and a nightly backup that copies only files that have recently changed.
